Can I create a sub-smart Mailbox in my smart Mailbox like I can do in the normal Mailbox?
I have several clients under a certain “Group’ Mailbox. Lets say the product name is ‘XY’ and 10 companies purchasing products from ‘XY’.
As I want to keep all e-mails in the ‘XY’ Smart Mailbox, but sub-divided into the 10 individual clients, can I create 10 Sub-Smart Mailbox’s for each of the 10 clients within the XY Smart Mailbox in the same way as I can do this on the normal Mailbox?

It is a long story that I will not bore you with. But the upshot is that I desperately need for Apple Mail Smart Mailboxes to add a search criteria that is “Date Sent”
Does anyone know how to do that?

iCloud mail – Mailbox busy, connection timeouts, hour+ delay in receipt, numerous problems – anyone else?
Over the last few of days I’ve had issues with Mail that have gotten progressively worse. These issues persist across my iMac (10.11.2), iPad (9.2), iPhone (9.2), and iCloud.com.
- E-mails arrive 1-2 hours late. (Note: even an Apple e-mail took around an hour to arrive.)
- Sending e-mails takes 30-90 seconds.
- Moving messages from one folder to another (Inbox -> Trash, sub-folder -> Trash, sub-folder -> sub-folder) takes 30-90 seconds.
- Repeated “Mailbox is busy” and “connection timed out” errors on OSX.
- Messages moved from folder to folder will often snap back to the original folder they came from. This is common when deleting an e-mail. After moving it to the Trash, it will jump back into the Inbox. However, if there is something stuck bouncing between folders, receiving an e-mail will typically resolve the problem.
- Issue persists across my home network (wired and Wi-Fi) as well as T-Mobile LTE.
So far I’ve:
- Rebuilt my mailbox on OSX. No effect.
- Signed out of iCloud on OSX, rebuilt the e-mail account as normal IMAP in Mail using the non-specific/load-balanced inbound and outbound IMAP servers. Same result.
I spent about an hour with AppleCare yesterday evening, escalated to a Senior Tech. They were both very helpful, but ultimately no fault or fix was found. Their iCloud tool didn’t show any issues. No problems specific to my account were found. When we closed up the session, it seemed to be a little better.
Back to having issues again today. I’ve been watching the Connection Doctor and system logs to see if anything interesting happens. What’s actually interesting is the fact that despite the apparent delay, there are connections going back and forth. It seems like iCloud’s mail servers are overloaded. Or at least the one I’m unfortunately tied to – p03-imap.mail.me.com.
I have the Sr. Tech’s e-mail and I’ve sent him a couple of updates. I specifically asked if there was an iCloud specialist we could escalate to and dig deeper. I was wondering if anyone here has any ideas.

One entire account mailbox just gone.
My Inbox had 2 accounts: gmail and Comcast (both imap). this evening my Comcast mailbox is gone and the gmail account is my only account.
Account list shows only gmail and icloud. any attempt to recreate the Comcast account thru “add internet account” generates error “account already exists”.
Comcast continues to be viable on the iPhone 6 and iPad air2; but it is gone gone gone on mac.
Time machine shows last appearance of Comcast mailbox on 28 Oct. I am unable to relate disappearance to update activity as Update only goes back to beginning of current month.
Tried to restore Comcast mailbox from last appearance in Time Machine but that did not work either.
I can bring up my Comcast emails by doing a search for comcast but they are not accessible form the Mail app folder sidebar.
My searching continues to bring up “missing emails problm ” but not any info on the entire mailbox account going missing
Any help? suggestions ?

iCloud, empty mailbox but shows full (5.08 GB used). Running out of space.
I have an iPhone 5.
I have this issue for over an year now, my iCloud (on the web and on my phone) tells me I am using 5.08 GB in mail even though my entire iCloud mail box (on the web) is empty.
My inbox, sent, drafts, thrash, junk, all folders are empty.

I contacted Apple support, they couldn’t fix it, they sent my call to some Singaporean service center where they couldn’t fix it either.
Please help me, I don’t know what to do.

I forgot my security answers for my account and wants to download some games but I keep asking it to send me an email to recover them but I am not getting it in my mailbox or spam have checked all the emails that are linked with the account help plea
I Am not getting an email from Apple about resetting anything and to be honest I don’t know my recovery email i have two on file but maybe there is another one I forgot about I don’t know
